Detroit, MI – MVP Executive Search & Development is pleased to announce Cari Van Kosky as the new Director of Electronic Health Records for Wayne State University Physician Group.
Wayne State University Physician Group (WSUPG) is a nonprofit multi-specialty faculty practice with more than 400 primary care and specialty physicians in a wide array of medical and surgical specialties. WSUPG physicians diagnose and treat some of the most complex medical cases in the state. The intrinsic link between high quality patient care, medical research, and training the next generation of physicians allows WSUPG to advance medicine in the metropolitan Detroit community and beyond.
Since 2005, Cari has been with Trinity Health in multiple roles within Trinity Information Services. Most recently, she was Program Manager responsible for collaborating with business owners and operational leads on direction for IT projects with a focus on data analytics. She led a team of five project managers. At WSUPG, Cari will support WSUPG’s NextGen suite of products and report to the Executive Director, Information Technology. She will lead cross-functional teams to evaluate, plan, implement, support and manage the EHR throughout all WSUPG’s clinical sites. Cari will be responsible for coordination around numerous strategic and operational initiatives that involve electronic health systems.
