Derek Wagner was recruited through a customized executive recruitment process executed by MVP team members Kay McCabe, Laura Cassidy, and Kate Winter.
Derek will report directly to the Chief Marketing, Sales and Communications Officer and is responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of international market development, including identifying high-opportunity markets. Derek brings over 20 years of healthcare experience in marketing, business development and general management to the CAP. Derek has developed and led international strategies and associated teams to success. Most recently, Derek was with Abbott Laboratories as a Senior Director-Business Development Strategy. Before Abbott, Derek served as the Chief Marketing Officer-Patient Care Solutions, at GE Healthcare. Derek has an MBA, Finance from Wharton and a BS in Biological Sciences from Ohio State University.
