In her 25+ years of experience, Mary has developed a deep passion for embracing people’s unique stories and figuring out what lights them up inside.

Starting her career as a television reporter, she always had a curiosity about people – their hopes, their dreams, their passions. Mary was always looking for what “lights them up inside”. What was it that got their heads off the pillow in the morning, fueled their decisions, gave them hope and brought excitement to their days?

As she transitioned from television into a career in high tech, and then eventually into corporate America, she became a “business anthropologist,” studying human behavior in the workplace in real time. As she moved into the executive workforce, she saw many people who loved their jobs and many people who didn’t. She was struck by the difference that being “lit up” made in people’s performance and productivity – and especially with the difference it made in getting hired and getting promoted and being happy in their work.

Her intuition, expertise and her desire to help people live their “best lives” was developed throughout business school at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business, and ultimately drove her to start her own business. Mary wanted to create a company that would help guide people with empathy, insight and a strong business acumen, into the right roles to help them achieve their own career goals. She was always thinking beyond executive search and into the future, taking her executive placements a step further with her coaching and leadership work. Her desire has always been to help people genuinely discover and embrace their passions and their own “unique light” inside. She guides them and helps them to create a real and actionable career roadmap for their future, thus creating more success than they had ever imagined.

Mary’s clients have said that she can “see” the possibilities for them even before they can. She challenges them to look for opportunities that they might not be seeing for themselves. She cares deeply about everyone she works with and looks at her clients’ lives and careers through a different lens, urging them to think outside of the box and unleash their true potential as executives and as human beings filled with light.

Mary encourages her clients to “look inside and rediscover what lights them up” guiding them and giving them the courage and confidence to do more than they ever thought was possible.
